Gotta love Summer....

total picture overload so I will apologize in advance..... with this many people though gotta include everyone! We spent a couple of weeks out at Mara lake in B.C. this summer and it has been a few years since we were all there.... I have to say it was fabulous! I can hardly wait for next year! Here are a few highlights from this summer....

I think everyone had a great time..... Don't really want summer to be over however I am looking forward to Fall.... September in Vegas, Shabby Chic starting up..... I do love all that so on to the next month! Enjoy your weekend everyone..... the few last beautiful days of summer before fall comes! See you all soon!

Hello my friends....
once again I feel like the time just flies by and before I know it I haven't blogged in a really long time! Makes me sad that I am struggling to keep up with it because I love it.... So here's to a new week and maybe I can try and keep up.... at least more than I have!
Today was our little munchkins birthday party..... it was so sweet to see how excited they were, both of them! Manda decided to do a joint birthday this year, not sure if she will do it again but it got it over with in one day so I thought it was a great idea! All the kidlets totally enjoyed themselves!

This past week it was word up over at OLW.... The word up this time around was Crazy.... Love that word!! Denise chose it this time around and that girl is just so darn cute and so extremely busy with life that it is the perfect word for her!!  There is so much I could have done with it, however I chose to Scrap a photo of kade because he such a crazy little dude! Full of energy and always on the go! The dude has been through a lot in his little life so even though sometimes he is a little monkey we probably wouldn't  want it any different, he has such a sweet loving little personality and we are so grateful to have him in our lives!

Hello my friends....
Once again I have been neglectful.... so sorry! Life has been busy as usual and I also had the privilege of an amazing get away with a great friend and her daughter! We had a fabulous time visiting Hawaii! Yes it was fabulous, almost didn't wanna come home!
However in the meantime there has been much to do since coming back! CLasses, work and of course taking care of my life at home.....
Today was word up over at OLW and the word was 'surround'.....there is so much that we can surround ourselves with. Love this word! Come on over and join in!

Had a nice little visit with my gran on Sunday.... she is the sweetest lady ever.... Love her so much!

Holy Smokes!
 I do not know where the time goes but it is just gone.... just like that! I wish it would just stand still.... sometimes..... not always, sometimes I can hardly wait for what is to come, what is tomorrow, what will happen soon or a week from now.... but when I think of hw fast it goes it makes me sad :( I totally have to learn to embrace the moment, appreiciate the days and just enjoy life. I don't think like that and I so wish it did because it is such a treasure.... a sweet gift that we all get....

I haven't shared anything for awhile...

I feel like I have been in a funk.... just existing, doing what i do.... working, taking care of everyone, try to keep up with the crazy business of life....you all know how it is i am sure but i am really trying to just be organized, be happy with where i am at.... just be.....

This is my layout for OLW this time around... I have to admit I wasn't too sure where to go with this but one of my kidlets gave me some flowers and I have to say that I really love that....  I love that they were thinking about it, they took the time to go and get them.... it makes me happy.....

I have been busy with classes,
This past weekend we had an event that Lori put on with the Scrapyard and Of course it was fabulous as always, it was so crazy busy though getting prepared for it with everything else that goes on in my household. It was so incredible though, we had so  much fun!
I will share some photos of that this week....

Hello my friends....
and Happy Friday! Gotta love Fridays, they just make me Happy!
 I started my New "bootcamp" class this week and it was so fun! Had a great time, new ladies and some of my regular chicks and yep it was a blast! We are scrappin in an old encyclopedia.... its from the 1920's.... so amazing.... Love it!
This week was a new 'word up' at OLW so make sure you go and check that out! It was Gudruns turn and the word was Home.... Love that!
What does that word mean to you? I know for me it is comfort....it is my happy place.... Love it when its quiet, love it when its busy.... Love morning coffee with the hubby.... Don't get me wrong there are times when I want to go go back to my other 'happy' place.... otherwise known as the Scrapyard just because it is so busy but I do LOVE being home.....
This is what I came up with for this time around...

I LOVE texture.... Love moulding paste, Love stencils, Love sprays.... it all just makes me so Happy! I have been cleaning my room since last night and yes it was a complete disaster but I am seeing a light at the end of the tunnel! I have also been doing my album cover and I REALLY love it a lot! Can't wait till the class next week! Hope to see you all then!

Again ladies it has been ridiculously crazy busy!!! No excuses just don't really know how to manage my time very well and that is a fact according to my youngest little darling! lol
Ah well its all good, it is how i do things I guess and I am not sure if that will ever change!

So on that note, I finished up my 20 week shabby chic class last week and it was so fabulous! Now I am starting a mini shabby class called Shabby Boot Camp! I am so excited! We will be "scrappin" in an old encyclopedia!!! So fun!

Ahhhh Sunday night and all is quiet.....
I have to say that the last little bit has been busy, more busy than normal and almost a little stressful.... wont go into details but there has been lots of little things going on that have made everything seem big.....it's crazy I know but I need to just take a deep breath and relax.... I can't change anything I just have to go with it... someone said today.... just think it is the beginning of a new week. Here's hoping this one is better than the last!

Makes me kind of sad that it is the last layout! (it always does!) I do know though that with the next class starting it is going to fun and different! I am looking forward to "new" so it will be all good!

Happy Monday!!
I hope you all had a fabulous weekend! I am enjoying a relaxing Monday morning, there is nobody in my house today except for me! Eeeekkkk so hard to believe but yep it is super quiet! Everyone is working! Happy Family day it is.... to me.... lol.... This past week it was 'word up' at OLW! This time around it was my turn.... my word is 'always' If you have never checked it out make sure you did and come and create with us! Its super fun!

What a fabulous day!!
My day started out by being treated to a pedicure from Manda.... so first time for a pedicure.... I know like what? First time? Yep first time, and I may be hooked! Loved it especially the really pretty colour that I got painted on my toes!

 And I may just be hooked on that too! It was really nice though, I didn't think that I would be able to turn mymind off and just enjoy because I hadn't got my layout done and so much to do. You all know how that feels..... However it was fabulous! Then she treated me to lunch out at Milestones! Seafood Salad yes please and white chocolate cheesecake for dessert! It was awesome! So much fun and we never do that! SHe had a baby shower to go to in the afternoon, then we met up again at Chinook Centre along with Shar, Ella and Shay!
Had to go into Free People and Had to try on this beautiful top that I really shouldn't have bought but did anyways.... Free People you are bad but I love you anyways!!! I LOVE that store!
Then we went for dinner to Joeys CHinook and topped off an already perfect day with a really awesome supper!

 Ok bad quality but I am not so much about the quality as the quantity of photo opportunities that I have with my kids, soooooo I take what I can get! lol

 We don't do that enough, i would like to do it more! Plus it was so good for Manda to have all day to herself! SO Thanks ladies for a fabulous day!
