TOTAL CHAOS......
Have you ever seen such a mess? I don't know how I even find anything in this disaster.... So first thing that I have to do is go and clean it up!! At least so that I can work and not get so stressed. Holy!!! Anyways.... things are crazy busy still but everything is coming together! Sorry to those of you in the Calendar club I know that I haven't been very good at sending layouts and I do apologize but there are so many things to get done!! Like for instance a poster is due tomorrow on the Rainforest in Brazil like what in the world do I know about this topic??? Anyway it looks like I will be finding out rather quickly since my darling little Cole hasn't even started it and it is due tomorrow!!( i hope his teacher isn't reading this!!) Life!!! with all these kids, good thing 2 of them are finished school otherwise I would have no time at all to scrapbook!! Well I better run along, back to work and see if I can get something accomplished!!! Oh by the way, those great little organizer bags at Michaels, i finally broke down and got one!!! They are on sale this week so I thought it might be good for classes and stuff, keep everything in one spot maybe!! We'll see but they are really cute!! I figured if you ladies have one then I wanted one too!!lol... Anyway talk to you soon,

Lynn

here's to my anonymous blogger! You would have won something if you would have signed who you are!!!lol You know I love that quote! I know that it is a long way for you to come to classes but you would love all the ladies that come, bring a friend you may realize that scrappin is your new favorite thing to do...
Anyways to everyone.....
Here is a great soup recipe that I just tried, everyone loved it here, well except for Cole!

Creamy Cheddar Chowder
2 cups boiling water 1 1/2 tsp salt
2 cups diced potatoes 1/2 tsp pepper
1/4 cup chopped onions 3/4 tsp dill weed
1/2 cup finely chopped brocolli 1/4 tsp nutmeg

(I didn't add brocolli, and it was just fine)
add boiling water to veggies and seasoning. Cover and simmer 10 - 15 minutes. doesn't need to boil
white sauce:
1/4 cup butter 2 cups milk
1/3 cup flour 2 cups shredded cheese

make white sauce with butter, flour, milk then add cheese. stirring constantly until cheese melts, cook it for a bit until it gets thick. Add the chhes sauce to the veggies, cook for about another 10 minutes, serve with cheese biscuits and a salad, makes a great easy meal

Hope everyone enjoys this!
Talk to you next week!
Cheers!

And the winners are......

Congratulations girls! I had to pick two because I couldn't decide on just one...

Here are the entries from the winners:

ANNIKA:
"to the world you might just be one person but to one person you might be the world"

LORI:
"I am aware that I am less than some people prefer me to be, but most people are unaware that I am so much more than what they see"

I loved all of them, there is even one from anonymous that I love so I guess if I use that one I don't have to give that person a freee class! I will post these all and then send them out! or hand them out in a class...
Lori and Annika you girls can use it towards that class or just towards your next class, Thanks again to everyone it was lots of fun, very inspiring!!
Cheers!

I am down to four quotes........

So I definately didn't think this would be this hard..... You guys all came up with some great quotes, and I may need to pick more than one! I am also trying to post some great Halloween pictures(not) actually my little darlings didn't decide until the last minute that they were even going to dress up! Sharla askd yesterday morning what she could dress up as! Uh Hello you have to leave for school right now! Needless to say she didn't dress up and then Cole decided as I was making supper last night that he needed a wig!!!! Of to Wal-mart right after supper with Rob! I don't think he was amused at all. I told him it would have been nice for a bit of a warning, he told me that I should have known he would need a wig!!!Needless to say I have the most pathetic Halloween pictures ever! Anyways back to my perfect world and contemplating these great quotes.... I will publish the winner later on today!
Thanks Girls,

Lynn

Someone asked about this contest again, It is like this: You send me your quotes, inspirational ones hopefully! At the end of October(halloween) I will pick the quote that has inspired me the most, then I will do a layout with that quote. Whosever quote it is they get to have the layout class for Free! Imagine a free class just by sending in something inspirational! Then I will send everyone the quotes if they are interested, i know I love to add to my quotes! Make sure that you put them on the blog and you have to sign your name otherwise I don't know who you are!

Trust me........

O.k. I might not have everything in control but I am trying! For all of you coming to the Fall Festival, today is Monday! If everyone starts getting ready today you will be ready! I promise! It will be a busy week for everyone I am sure! Don't forget to keep on sending in the quotes they are fabulous and totally inspiring. The date that this contest closes is October 31st. So keep sending! The layout classes in November are sold out but there is still room in the pizza party so keep that in mind! There is also room in the project at the end of the month! I will have to change that date so keep posted for which date that will be!
Talk to you soon,
