Here is my layout for OLW this time round.....Gudrun picked the word this time! What a great wordd with a New Year about to begin..... START.....I did Start Fresh..... I thought about starting a new year with New goals.... a new vision......Love it! So mke sure you get over to OLW and play along with us!
I wanted to shre some of my favorite shots at this moment.... My good friend Kathy became a Granny for the second time around.... She has a sweet little grandaughter! Congrats my friend!

Our sweet little Kade got a little quad for Christmas.... I know he cn't sit up yet but we thought it was cute anyways.... He seemed to enjoy itt cause he screamed his head off when we took him off! It was so funny!
My sweet Sharla! Love you hunny..... Hard to believe she will gradute this year and move in a new direction with her life!
and my mom and dad.... Hardly ever get shots of them so was glad to get this one!


Our local scrapbook store The Scrapyard recently started a blog.... they are an awesome group of girls over there so pop over and give them some love!

Hope everyone is being good.....
so how has everyone been? Life is busy, hectic and just crrazy actually! Someone commented that the last time I blogged was in November..... like what????? so here I am.... I know slacker! K the rules are I am supposed to pick 5 others but you girls all know that I can't..... sorry..... so anyone that thinks they are kreative, go ahead take it!
Thought I better post a picture off Grammy and her little man! Love this! How cute is he? Love him Love him! We went to zoo lights here in Calgary a couple of weeks ago.... lots of fun!

Whew!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! life is busy! Just wanted to share few things for this week! First I am having an afternoon class on Thursday...."a week in my life" album....should be fun Here is little peek at mine.... will share more later!

second is our sweet little Kade and Manda! How sweet is he(she is kind of sweet herself!) It is so hard to believe that he is almost 5 months! Where do the days go?
I LOVE this shot! Not sure what the little guy is thinking but how adorable! It is like Grammy can you quit already????

and third it is word up #40..... Unreal heh? I know time flies! Our new gals also posted their creations this time around! Go and check them all out! The word up for this time was 'energy' like what? I have to admit I was like uhhhhhhhmmmmmmm not sure what to do and then I realized that Shalaina is so full of energy.... she doesn't stop.... I would like some of that myself! Word up #39.....
the word up for this time is "listen". Love that.... Listen, like truly listen.... Gi picked our word for this time and she posted an amazing little write up about the word listen. Like what does it mean to you? I know for me life seems so busy that I don't take the time to listen, it makes me kind of sd because I know it won't be very long form now that i will wish I would have listened more.... Go on over to OLW and check out the word and what everyone did with it...we all got to work with fabulous kits from this place.....Kenner Road..... I LOVE the kits, full of some amazing stuff, kind of vintagey which I love..... so make sure you check that out!

I'm Back!!!!!!!
so are you all getting sick of me telling you how busy I am???? Well to be perfectly honest I am sick of me telling ME I am busy!!!!! Crazy Life! Anyways I am finally getting around to posting my OLW layout! "imagine" what a great word, LOVE IT! Speaking of OLW the 3 additions to our creative team were nnounced to day so make sure you go over nd check those girls out! They are lots of fun and have been wordsters from the beginning!

Shawn Has been home for a few days so he has been happy to have his 'uncle' time with Kade.... so sweet seeing Kade starting to recognie everyone and he is soooooooooo happy! Smiley and sweet, melts my heart!

I will be posting my brag book class and my layout for fall festival on Friday!!!speking of Fall Festival I may have one or two spots left.... Where have I been? crazy I know but life has been so crazy busy! I am hoping that I am all caught up right now and things are back to normal! we'll see! Our word up over at OLW for this week is a little bit different! We joined teams with Pencil Lines
We used their sketch to do a layout.... a little bit different for me.... I tried my hardest to follow it but by the end I noticed that I had just kept adding.... I totally couldn't help myself! lol anyway I got it done so that was the main thing! The word is 'Keep" Love that! Miss Karla got to pick it this week!Here is what i did:

We had a little mini photo shoot so that Manda and Cody could capture this sweet time in their lives! I Love this shot of them! They are so happy with their lives and their sweet little Kade!

And the reason that I haven't been around much lately.... me and these girls.... Marilyn, Lucie and Kathy and myself..... went to Las Vegas to take a class from Teresa Collins! We had so much fun.... touring around Vegas.... I really loved it, so much fun to be with those girls too! Plus it was a really great event! If you ever get the opportunity to go to one of these events I would highly recommend it! Plus it is so much fun hanging out with your girlfriends for a few days!
Teresa Collins is a doll! Plus her product line is awesome!
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone today! I have been thinking so much lately of how much we have to be Thankful for! Life is good.................

Change is inevitable for all of us....it may be a small thing or might be something really big, but we will all go through lots of changes throughout our lives. Some changes we might not even be ready for but we will have to go through it anyways. Change is good for all of us.... It helps us grow, it helps us become who we are.... it defines us....The biggest change that I have been through lately is the arrival of our grandson! This has been such a good change for me but a big change all the same.... It feels like not so long ago that I was going through the same things as my daughter is now.... plus going from 'mommy' to 'grammy' seemed like a big deal! Make sure you go and check out OLW this time around and get in on the fun!

It's that time again! Word up over at OLW!
for this week it was Rondas choice and the word is "LOVE"! Great word! So make sure you go and check it out and play along! This is what I came up with:
Kade is Finally home from the hospital and doing so well! It has been so awesome to have him around! Love having a baby around the house again! He is growing good and has such a sweet little personality!


I am having such a hard time with the whole back to school thing! I like being back into a little bit of a routine but I am missing summer so much already and it isn't even winter yet! yuck! Shalaina started a new school this year.... grade 7.... unreal junior high!
Cole started a new school, High School, now that is hard to believe but it seems he is liking it! I will just keep my fingers crossed!
And Sharla is in grade 12.... weird! I will be down to 2 kids in school next year!
It seems that time stops for no one..... so enjoy every moment of every day to the fullest! We blink and ten years has flown by.... Enjoy everyone and remember to LOVE these days!

Word up at OLW!
here we are again..... 2 weeks in between blogging! I am hoping that as school starts that I will get back in to a routine of updating a little bit more frequently! Life in the last week have been a bit of a blur and reminds me of the uncertainty of life..... Some very good friends of ours lost their daughter last week in car accident.... Brianne was a beautiful girl and will be missed by all that new her.... The word up at OLW this week was very timely.... CHOOSE.... i decided to do "choose wisely" there are so many choices that we all have to make in life and hopefully we choose wisely.... Next week the kids start back to school, Sharla in her last year of high school, COle starting high school and Shalaina starting junior high.... these years are so important for each one of them and I really hope that they make wise choices! Here is what I came up with:
Here are some recent shots of our little Kade... He is such a joy to have in all of our lives... He is still in the Childrens hospital but he is coming along now.... He is finally starting to feed good.... a little bit of a slow process but we can now see the light at the end of the tunnel.... It has been a long road for Manda and Cody but they will soon get to take him home.... we are all hoping for just one more month, so heres hoping!


He has such a sweet little personality....

2 WEEKS LATER.....and word up.....
here we are 2 weeks since my last post and there isn't really all that much to blog about....hard to believe that 2 weeks from now the kids will be back at school and life will return to somewhat of a normal routine.... The last two weeks have consisted of being at the hospital everyday..... sometimes twice, taking meals and just trying to help where i can....for now that is life.... Our little Kade is getting bigger everyday and for the last few days has been starting to feed and keep it down.... well most of it anyways! He is probably close to 6 and a half pounds now so he is getting bigger, out of the preemie clothes now! Yayyyyyy! He is precious.... Manda and Cody are coping but it is long days up there, Our excitement yesterday was taking the baby, tubes, IV pole and all and sitting outside the front of the hospital enjoying a coffee! This lasted for about ten minutes until his little machine started beeping off.... oh well it was awesome while it lasted!
Wanted to share my word up for this time round! 'FAITH'

Gi picked this word over at OLW and really it couldn't have come at a better time! perfect.... we have to have FAITH to believe that it will all be fine..... easier said than done some days! The picture on this layout was the first time Manda saw him since he left for the Childrens hospital... so precious....

and this boy turned 15 on August 10th.... WOW where do the years go! Seemed like yesterday....Happy Birthday Cole!

Cole absolutely adores Kade.... My mom mentioned the other day that he looks at him with complete adoration in his eyes! So sweet!

so I know I have been neglecting this poor blog but whats a girl to do????? Life has definitley got in the way and for now can't be helped....but it is word up over at OLW

OLW word up..... and some recent pics of our little boy.....
Wow, hard to believe where the last two weeks went but here we are with our new word up over at OLW!
The word up is "IF" so many different directions that you could go with this! I did lots of journaling that is tucked inside.... I won't go into it to much but it starts off...."if I could go back nd start all over, would I cange anything? NOPE! not a thing! I love my life right now..... Love that I got married so young, Love that I started my family when I was only 19 years old.... that is what I wanted..... there is more but I won't bore you all with the details! lol Go over and check out what the other girls did with this word, all amazing!



Here are some recent pictures too of Kade.... He is such a precious little boy and we all can't geet enough of him! So nice to have a little baby around again to hug and cuddle.... he is a doll! He is coming along really good although he is a bit of a rapid breather so until they find out what is causing that he won't be feeding.... as soon as he starts feeding I know he will just do so well, until then though we are just hoping that his breathing slows down.... otherwise he is growing good and getting brighter everyday. He is up to about 5 lbs now so gaining everyday! Enjoy your day everyone and make sure you go over to OLW and participate! So much fun!

Happy Monday everyone!
Ok so I know it is 12:30 in the morning but you gotta do what you gotta do....lol There is only so much time in a day and I am running out of time really fast these days....just wanted to give everyone a little update on Kade.... He is still about 4 lbs 6 ozs.... so not exactly sure what his birth weight really was but he is growing! Yayyyy! and you can tell by the pic that he is just so cute! He is doing really well..... his cry is getting stronger everyday! He knows who mommy is and as soon as she bundles him up and snuggles he is fast asleep again! They re going to start feeding him tomorrow so hope everything goes good with that.... it is one day at a time.... and as long as he eats good and grows and shows us that all his little body parts are funtioning properly he should be home within a month! We will just cross our fingers!
