I guess I can share my news now.......since most of you know anyways....lol
I'm........................................ not pregnant...............but I AM going to be a Grandma! Like how weird is that? It wasn't very long ago that I was sharing the news that I was prego... as Tannis would say in a state of Knockedupedness with all my family and friends and now it is my daughter going through the same experience! Wow.... time has a way of creeping in and having the years go by fast.... so now my next question for you all is how about coming up with a name for me? and by that I don't mean a nasty name although I am sure there are times! lol I am not sure about the whole Granny thing or even Grandma for that matter( well maybe by July I will look like a Grandma!) anyways lets come up with a 'cool' name and i will send a R.A.K to the one that is chosen! How does that sound? Anyway for all you ladies that couldn't attend my Fall Festival a great time was had by all.... lots of fun and laughing and great times with friends.... stay tuned for the Spring Thing! I just wanted to post a couple of new layout:
I have kits left for both of these layouts, so let me know if you are interested! For those of you waiting for the class layout for the 29th I am hoping to have it posted by the end of the week! I have been taking a couple of days to hang out and relax so I hope to have it posted right away! Thanks to everyone that made Fall festival so much fun! Talk to you all soon!

Lynn

I don't know why, but NiNi makes me happy (pronounced nee nee) Good luck with your NAME!! My boys call my mom Brown Gramma... because she's dark skinned! lol

Congrats!!! Being a grandparent is the best!!!! I go by Grammy. It doesn't sound old or frumpy. It sounds like grandma but it is easier for them to say! I really love it when my grandson calls me grammy. You are going to love this part of your life!!!

Congrats Lynn, you will LOVE being a Grama, it is the Best! We have #3 Grandbaby on the way in April. When our grandaughter began to talk she called me "Dama" You could always go with that!

Yay! Congrats to you and your daughter! Instead of Grandma and Grandpa, we called ours Nanny and Poppy! So , my Mom and Dad are Nanny and Poppy now to my children! I think Nanny is so sweet! You are going to have soooo much fun!

OO congrats to you and your daughter, so exciting. My daughter calls me Mommy and my mom mama. Also my bf's mother her grandkids call her Mima (pronounced mee-ma)(I want to say it's polish since they are polish but I'm not sure hehe).

Hey Lynn, congrats again! I think Nana is a great name, that's what Hadyn and Hannah call my mom. There's a different name for every generation of grandparents in our family (until they pass) and then their name is passed to the next generation. When we talk about Granny or Nana everyone knows who it is.
PS) could you save me one of the 2nd layouts (the red one) I love it!

Congratulations Lynn!!! In Ukranian we call grandma "Baba" but to be honest, I'm not sure that's the most flattering name for such a young thing as you!! Love the new layouts - hope you have some left!!! Any Christmas Pizza Parties in the works??? See ya soon, Lori P.

Congrats! You are too young to be a grandma, so you should use Nanny or Noni, much more youthful.

HEY Lynn thought it was a nice idea to get some opinions on names for your new sorry Amanda new arrival. But what is the matter with Gramma and or PaPa Granpa. There is nothing more nice when I pick up the phone and I hear one of the kids say Hi gramma or is PaPa there we both just love it The reason Dad got PaPa was because Amanda could not say Granpa PaPa was so much easier for her so hence the reason he got PaPa mind you aweek later she was calling Robs Dad Granpa I geuss in the eyes of a 6 or 7 month he was and alwats will be her PaPa So on that note I think Amanda is the winner. Your loving Mom and Dad .

Congratulations - oh that is so lovely! :-)
I have been visiting your blog several of times, and now I thought I would leave you a message!

Here in Denmark a grandmom is called "mom-mom" Say the word "mom" twice and you got it. LOL.
Here mom is called MOR - so grandmom is MORMOR. ;-)

You've got to be the youngest looking Grandma-to-be I've ever heard!

My Mom has always gone by Grandma, but my youngest daughter has started calling her Grammy and I think that is so cute!!

Greta Adams said...

my mom is a firm believer in the child will name you...she let my oldest name her and for whatever reason he decided he would call her Honey...so that is what all the grandkids call her now...
