Week #8 journal card...

so you know that you have no life when you can hardly

wait for Emily to post her weekly card........ I

am sure that I must have checked about 5 times last night

then finally it was posted and there were already ten ladies

that had posted on her site and most of them had already

posted their new creations, unbelievable!!!!! Anyway no worries

ladies i am just as bad if not worse, only problem is though I am

not that quick to get it done!!!!!

This weeks prompt was....Something or someone you miss

No picture on mine, all journalling... I won't bore you with the

whole story but it goes something like this.... most of you know

that my kids are a bit older now, (the youngest is ten and the oldest

is 21) The thing that I miss the most is when they were babies, don't get

me wrong I love my life now but those were just the sweetest days

ever... snuggling with the babies, those sweet little kisses and hugs,

Wow I miss those days.... okay lets not get too mushy over here I will

be wanting another one!!!!! lol

just for the record I am totally kidding!

Love this challenge...
have a great night ladies, I will send out the March layout tomorrow or the next day!!

Hi ya Lynn:
I love your card. True about our babies - but don't worry, in no time now, we'll be getting our grand-babies. You can bet we'll be taking pics. then. I finally realized what I truly miss as I was looking at your site. My sight. 20-20 vision, instead of tri-focals where you can read only part of everything, instead of the whole page lighting up. I can see my card already if I was following this same road. But, I'm doing something different as you know with my cards. I love these cards and am so glad you told me about it and said let's do it. And showing each other is the best - I get so excited when a class at your house comes, because I always say, Lynn, wait until you see my cards. I think this will be a forever yearly thing. Let's all hope so.
Love ya,
Kath

Hey Lynn! Beautiful card. Maybe Amanda will make you a grandma in the near future??? Then you can at least give them back when you are tired - ha, ha! Anyway, you can borrow mine ANYTIME you want, it's not a problem, really, LOL! Have a great day, Lori

P.S. Thanks for letting Sharla babysit last night, we had a great date. Hope she's not too tired today!

Great card. It's what I needed to hear. It's one of those days when you have the little ones still and it's a bit rougher (not fun when they have ear infections). Anyway, your card helped me to step back and be grateful for little hands and toes. :)
