Here is a new...

picture with my new camera!!!!!!! So after much searching and asking questions I finally decided on the canon 30d!!!! I am so excited I can hardly stand it! I have waited a long long time for something like this!!! So if you get sick of me talking about it, just tell me to SHHHHHH!! I have been very bad at posting but there has been so much stuff going on, I will share that in the next post. I have been trying to organize the class schedule and so on so it has been a bit hectic... The first layout class on the 8th is sold out and I have one or two spots on the 15th. I have a couple of spots left in the pizza party! Let me know if you are interested it will be lots of fun! I have posted some info about the Spring Thing on my website under classes, although i only have a couple of spots left! Let me know if you need any more info... I hope to post my new "card" later on this evening! Me and the girls are shopping today for a dress for Shalaina, so far we have had no luck, poor little thing she wants to look like the bride! end of the week for sure, the first layout class
is on Febuary 8th. It isn't done yet though so
I can't share it quite yet!

Mine is definately in my husband, most days i am not quite sure where my life would be if he wasn't in it... He keeps me strong...

I have had such a great day today, I cleaned up my studio a bit, well so that at least i could work down there, and since then i have just been busy creating... Love days like this! i even made a little pocket to hold my cards, I will post that next time! We are going to an engagement party tonight for Manda and Cody and some other couples that they know, should be fun! Have a great rest of your Saturday ladies!

Talk about procrastinating....

all week i have been wanting to post my cute little art journal card and here it is almost the weekend... Like how cute is this thing! I love doing them, totally fun... So i have actually not got a thing accomplished this week, lots of good intentions but I am not sure what the heck happened... anyways here we are. I have a layout class tonight and have been busy with the class schedule for Febuary. There is so much to do and so little time but like I keep saying (I am not sure if I am trying to convince myself or what) that I work so much better under pressure... For those of you in the album class next week please watch your e-mails I will be sending out a bit of inspiration( well at least it inspires me) i will try to post the next art journal card soon, the theme is "what gives you power" Love this... Tomorrow i will be starting the art journal so keep posted and like I said i think it will be a really fun challenge, just something for all of us to reflect on...

Yesterday was so much fun and we found a dress.... It was so sweeeetttt hard to believe one of my babies is actually going to do this... I actually got a bit choked up and then Sharla says... MOM not right now, not a good time so of course i did exactly what she asked and sucked it in... I think even She and manda wanted to bawl but there were so many people in there that we held back..

Happy Friday everyone...

Whewwwww! what a week, although it flew by there was so much to do and lots going on... We have started to do a little bit of planning for Mandas wedding, tomorrow we are going Dress shopping so we are pretty excited about that!!! We will have so much fun planning this special day! When all you girls get sick of listening to me just tune me out, K! Anyways wonder if anyone is up for a challenge??? I am not big on challenges because they always seem to stress me out more than challenge my creativity....BUT.... this one will be fun I promise. Check out these two sites, amazing girls, totally inspiring artists! I really enjoy seeing what they are up to on a regular basis... After you check out their sites, go get yourself a deck of cards. just plain old playing cards...Lots of you may have already done this challenge but I am a little bit behind so... there are 52 cards in a deck and 52 weeks in a year. One card per week and you can do whatever you want, follow "e"s challenges or come up with your own. We all get so busy with life, and the kids, and the husbands and so on that we forget about us so I think this will be a fun little project just for "us" I would love to see what you girls come up with so let me see too! Here are the sights and since I am already 1 card behind I will post 2 next week! Have a great weekend! journey, capture, create...

I know, two entries in one day but I just got thinking... Kim wondered if i was doing Ali's challenges. I hadn't really thought of it but checked her website out anyway. Then I got thinking and realized that it would be a great way to really think.... think about my direction, my goals, things i would like to accomplish and so on... So here goes, i know it is supposed to be one word but i couldn't settle on just one,
Journey, because this is definately my motto I think about the journey everyday, where I am going, when I am going, how, where it will lead and so on...
capture, because i want to capture every detail, of every single minute, every single day... I want to record it, and capture it on film... or digital of course...
create, I want to explore my creativity, try new things, push myself to do things i would normally never even think about and so on...
I want to be ME... say things that need to be said, do things that need to be done, Live my life to the fullest and enjoy every minute of My Journey!

here is the January layout...

just thought that I would share the January layout class.

There are two classes, one on the 11th and one on the 18th

of January... I still have a couple spots on the 18th left

Watch the website for more info coming about upcoming classes

as well as some events coming up. One event being the

"Spring Thing" in May, I only have a few spots left for this event,

and the other being the "crop for kids"event in Edmonton in

October... I will keep you posted. Registration for this event

begins in March so I will let you know more about it

soon. It is supposed to be the biggest event that Canada has ever

had so it will be a great time... I do have a link for this event on

the right side of my blog so check it out.

Saturday news....
so not too much to share today other than It was a great Saturday! Very busy but a great day! Had an album class today that was awesome, after the girls left I thought of taking a picture of everyones album, a little late! They were all so beautiful though! I just love seeing the finished product when everyone is done! I also love it when everyone leaves with something that they are so happy with! On a lighter note, a little wedding news.... Manda and Cody were here today and the decision was made that the wedding will be out in B.C. We are so excited! Maybe next week we will do some shopping, can't wait! Well, off to bed talk to you girls later!

More News....

So while I was crazy busy before Christmas I decided that i would send some layouts off to the "fancy pants" website. Like i had nothing better to do! You all know though that I work so well when I am under pressure!! They were looking for a new design team... so.... after we got back after New Years I received an e-mail saying that I got Honourable mention!!!! Like how much fun is that! Totally excited! Check it out... www.fancypantsdesigns.com and here are the layouts above that i submitted, (one you already saw with Manda and Cody on it) I have also been chosen to be a guest designer on another sight I will let you know when I know more about that! I am having so much fun with all this stuff! Totally awesome!

Hey everyone just wanted to say Thank you for all your kind wishes! We are really excited thinking about all of this and it is only the beginning! Can't wait though we will have lots of things to do! I hope everyone had a great New Years! Just wanted to let everyone know about a site that i put some layouts on... it was for a contest, i did it for fun(I never win anything) anyways they PICKED the layout for a winner I could hardly believe it!
