I'm done.... I think!
well i think i am done my shopping! Yay..... other than my groceries! Now I just have to wrap presents! I knew I should have started way back in October! Oh well had lots of fun!
And this sweet boy is home for Christmas..... he is such alittle trooper! He will be on antibiotics for awhile but it is so sweet to see him up and around, playing with his toys and so happy! Everytime you look at him and smile he just lights up and smiles right back! So adorable!

The little peanut had his first haircut today so will post those pics soon! He screamed his head off! So sweet!!!!! It really was sweet! There was someone in there that didn't seem very happy with her three little munchkins and I know we all have our days but really in the big picture try to look at your life without them.....as she was filling us in on her life and how hard three children were I just smiled and thought to myself I am so HAPPY to have my five children and one grandson.... and how grateful I am that everyone is healthy now..... there are so many kids in the Childrens hospital over Christmas that it really breaks your heart....one girl said to Manda on the day that they were discharged "ohhhhhh you get to go home for Christmas?????!!!!!"""" Feel so bad for them! I know that for all of those people the best gift ever.... would be to take their children home. We are truly blessed.....

What a difference a day makes.....
Our little peanut is still in the hospital..... but everyday he just seems so much more like himself! Today especially he decided that it was ok to throw the toys on the floor and to try and look over the bars of the crib! How exciting is that! Quite a thing when that makes us so happy! His chest xray today isn't GREAT but they are still hoping to take the chest tube out tomorrow so here is hoping! Life is still busy, trying to get in the Christmas sprit and do a little bit of decorating around the house, I went and got some l fresh garland for my windows the other day and have to get it put up! Hope to do that tonight! Still have quite a bit of shopping to get done but I will just get it all done in a day or two.... for those of you that know me well you all know that I work way better under pressure! Life.....

It amazes me how things can change so fast! Our little pumpkin is in the Childrens hospital as I write this waiting on a second surgery to clean out his tiny little lung...... 2 weeks ago he ended up with a cold and flu...... the next thing we know he is in the hospital with pneumonia...

One positive thing is he is little fighter and I know that he will be fine but it is so hard when you are really helpless..... you want to do what you can but there is nothin to do but wait.....

This layout is #10 in the series..... picture size is 4 by 6......
Stay warm everyone and I will try to post again and let you all know how our little man is doing....

waiting till the last minute....
it is what I do..... you all know that! lol ok so here is the layout for this weeks class at the scrapyard....it is a sold out class sorry girls but we will be doing another session, watch the calendar at the scrapyard for further info!
I am really trying to keep up and post all of the layouts I know I have slacked in some.... sorry! So hard to believe that it is almost December 1st.... on Tims blog he just announced that he will in fact be doing nother round of the twelve days of Christmas! So excited about that! That guy is so talented, so much inspiration! Life is keeping things so busy around here I am finding it hard to blog very much so bare with me i am really trying to be oranized but you all know how it goes! Have a great day everyone!

Randomness.....
Just wanted to share some favorites from the last little while..... and to post the next layout for the Shabby Chic album class..... this is Shalaina when she was 2, such a little sweetie and now here she is getting all grown up on me.... where do the days go? Life just seems to be flying by!

This is so not perfect.....

K.... it is perfect to me......
if I was worried about this picture being totally correct..... correct exposure, correct lighting..... correct focus, so on and so on......i totally blew it..... but I LOVE it! It works for me! I have been so caught up lately with getting perfect picture that I have been forgetting about the everyday moments.... the little things that matter..... Kade giving his momma a little smoochey.... gotta love it! He is such a little sweetie his little personality.... I love it.....so if you are taking photos and think oh that one so did not work think again it is probably that picture perfect moment..... keep it, use it...... life is keeping me so busy Rob and Sharla have been busy getting my house in order, painting rooms and all the trim in the house, changing it from the beautiful oak to even more beautiful white.... can't wait until it is all done! I am teaching twice a week at the scrapyard which is totally keeping me out of trouble....so busy....but its all good!

Wanted to share.....

Well here we are.....
almost the end of October and many changes are happening all around me.... First of all a photo shoot I did for some friends last week, Just a little sneak peek,Hope you like them!
Next up..... OLW has decided that it is time to close down..... makes me kind of sad but Ronda put it up on the blog this week and she put it so well I will let you read it for yourself.....check it out....OLW I have to say though I will miss working alongside those girls..... even though most of us haven't met but i consider us all great friends! I will miss it! I am teaching a lot though over at the scrapyard so make sure you come and check that out! I will post the layout next time! Have a great rest of your weekend!

One moment....caught on film....
this is layout #3 that I am teaching at the scrapyard....for the ladies that ususally come to my classes at my house, I am teaching this class next week, Tuesday night and Thursday during the day. I am grateful.....
hey everyone! It is word up again!!!! Not quite sure how that happened, I feel like I just posted my last word and here we are again! Yikes, the weeks are just flying by..... Lookinng out my window right now the snow is slowly falling and it really does look pretty although I am not quite ready to put the flip flops away! lol
Since I feel like my post isn't quite complete without a few shots I thought I would share these ones from this past week!

Trying to catch this sweet busy boy on film is a challenge thats for sure!Cute heh???
This is my second layout for my class at the scrapyard, I don't think it is quite full so give them a call if you are interested!

Word up and a pic of sweet little Kade!
Ok if he isn't the most adorable little thing ever! Gotta love him with his sucky!
It is word up again and I have to admit I was a bit stumped with the word this week...."OPEN" .... Karlas Choice and here she is with brand new set off twin boys at her house and time to scrapbook as well! I know it is really a simple little word but wow I was stumped! Anyways this is what I came up with......The picture of the door is from heritage park this summer..... Life as usual has been busy, Got my cousin to the airport yesterday, back to Scotland....I am going to totally miss her but hope it won't be too long before we see each other again! I am back to teaching this evening so a few things to do for that! Make sure you keep checking back I will be teaching at the scrapyard too so check them out too! Mondays..........
Gotta love them..... my day started out a little bit late but I finally got myself organized and the kids up for school and out the door.... Then I got myself to the gym and had a really good work out! Now I am updating my blog and getting to my weekend e-mails! My first class will be this coming Thursday....i am doing the layout that is right below this post. there is sstill room so let me know if you re interested! It is also available as a kit so if you are interested e-mail and I will let you know the details!

Word up and a few of my favorite pic from this week.....
so I have to say that I am totally not impressed that fall is upon us since it really feels like summer just started, but since it really isn't my call on what the weather is going to do I will just accept and make the most of the season..... I do enjoy getting back in to a bit of a routine so that is a good thing! It is word up again and this time round it is my turn.... been thinking about Shawn lots lately and thought of the word invincible....perfect word for him! If you want to read the write up go over and check out what i said over at OLW this week!

Love the whole motorbike picture but I totally don't like that he loves riding a motorcycle.... totally scares the daylights out of me.... the way he rides it that is......(he did sell it though so for now it is all good!)

AHHHHHHHHHHH....... the first week back......
and a good week it is.... the kids, (well two of them!lol) are settling back to school nicely, although have to say that with the amazing weather we are having it is kind of hard to be excited for back to school! I would still like to be at the lake basking in the sun......the house is definitely quiet....its all good though i think they were gttting bored! It is funny to see Cole so excited to go to school but I know it is because he is driving Sharlas car.... so funny, anyway it is good, love to see him excited! I wanted to share some shots of a recent little photo shoot I did with my neighbor and her little ones.... They are all adorable! I am trying to get this whole photography thing going, we will see how it goes! I really do love it though!

It's word up!!!!
here we are again! Hrd to believe nother two weeks has flown by! WOW! And look at me two posts in one week, I know.... how good am I? So the last post had no pics, not sure what blogger was up to but she finally let me post some this time around! Ronda's choice of word for this time around, "beauty" Love it! Sweet Sweet summer time.....
so this post will be oh..... so boring, no pics! I have tried for the last twodays to post pics and nope....notta...... nothing.....Blogger is so not cooperating..... oh well! I will fill you in on the last ffew weeks! Life..... has been busyy, I am sure it is the same for all of us, we try to make the very most of the last sweet carefree days of summer, gotta love it! I promise to post some pics soon if I can! Wednesday is word up at OLW so make sure you check that out! I had a boy turn 16 and get his license! so hard to believe! like where did my sweet little blonde boy go.... He is all grown up! Starting grade 11! We spent a week out at the Shuswap this summer, and totally enjoyed every day! Had great weather! Had so much fun! I WILL be starting classes again, probably late September so make sure you check bck for that! A few things in the works right now, I will keep you all posted! The Kids arre all back to school this week so I really promise to try to update this poor neglected blog! until then,

It's word up!
so here we are again, this time round it was Revlies turn! WHY? Great word..... this is what I came up witth this time around! Make sure you head over to OLW and check out what everyone else came up with!
So what has everyone been up to? Feels like summer is going so fast, I can hardly believe it is the middle of July! Life as always has been crazy busy, hmmmmm lets see what I have been up to.... We enjoyed getting to the Stampede a few times this year! Had a great time!! We went and say Reba with some great friends and had great time..... We always go to see Johnny Reid at the coke stage, if you have never seen him you are missing out! Totally awesome! Sharla hd her 18th birthday! WHAT???? I know it is so hard to believe! The years are just speeding past!! At her birthday party I left my camera out in the rain! Can you believe that? Like who does that???? Anways I did so now I am in the process of trying to fix it or replace it! I am missing it like crazy! wish me luck that I will get it back really soon!

Happy Birthday to this sweet boy!
it is so hard to believe that a whole year has gone by in a blink! I was thinking about that Kenny Chesney song, 'don't blink' the other day.... how true it is, you blink and it is all behind us, just a distant memory...It is word up over at OLW

Just wanted to share a few shots from Kade's birthday party on Saturday! We had an awesome day, a barbeque shared with family and friends, loved it..... and the weather was perfect so it really was an awesome day!

Love getting pictures like this of my kids! Even though there are many days of fighting and bickering with each other, i think for the most part they love each other!

So glad it's Friday.....again.....
another crazy busy week! So glad that tomorrow is Friday! It is word up again over at OLW( if you haven't played along go and check it out! So fun! Jessi picked the word this time..... 'GOOD'..... it's all good! After the week I have had, I really have to say to myself it's all good.... SOmetimes we go through experiences that really make us sit back and do a little check.... I have realized that LIFE is what you make it and only we can change a bad sitution.....

It is that time again.... WORD UP!!!!
I feel like I just posted my layout for the last word and here we are again! Whewwwwwwwww life has been hectic.... as I mentioned in my last post it was Sharlas grad last week and it feels like it has been non stop.... time to relax i think! I taught my last class for the season last night at the scrap yard! So fun, great bunch of ladies so if any of you are reading this! Thank you it was awesome! Just wanted to share a few of my fave shots for this week so far!
Shawn and Kade, love this shot! I don't think Kade is too sure what to think but he started warming up to him! so sweet!

I totally blew the focus on this shot but I love it anyways! He is such a little sweetie! Look at those cute little teeth!
Shalaina gets something in her mind and there is no changing it..... she diecided she wnted a guitar so bd she couldn't stand it..... in fact if she didn't get one I am sure she would have died wihout it! lol Manda took her to get it..... she bought it herselff which I thought would be better, then maybe she would take care of it.... she thinks she is a superstar! So cute!

Finally Grad arrived!
feels like these grde 12 students plan their whole 12th grade around grad! Gotta love the excitement! I was so excited for Sharla, watching her with the whole ceremony and planning the event and wht they would be doing and so on! Loved every minute of it! Congrats Shar I LOVE you! Shawn was home for the weekend and as always makes the weekend very exciting! Ver busy and noisy..... and I really love the noise, i don't like it when there isn't noise! (i am talking about 'fun' noise!) Miss him so much when he isn't at home though! Just wanted to share a few of Shars Grad pics..... Her grad date is one of Shawns friends and he has been around our house for a long time!

I LOVE this quote.... and how true it is, reflecting on our 'present blessings'It is word up at OLW! It is my turn this time and I chose the word 'REFLECT'....
So often lately I feel as though I am reflecting on the past and experiences that haven't been good ones..... Really though what I should be doing is reflecting on my present blessings.... the things that matter right now!
